Backing & Pre-Training Work Rider, Warmblood Stud - WFS

Suit single person aged 16-35 with competitive graded riding experience & formal Equestrian training. Backing & groundwork training of some of the classiest Warmbloods on the African continent, preparing & schooling them for auction.
Responsibilities / Requirements of role:
Backing & groundwork of young unschooled WB's - backed & schooled according to Stud’s guidelines, not afraid of falling off.
Riding fit, previous training in Equitation/Dressage/Show-jumping - rider who is willing & mouldable preferred.
Work as a team, prepared to assist in all stud & farming divisions & with foalings during breeding season.
Candidate that is good humoured, hard-working, dedicated, positive, honest, adaptable, physically & mentally healthy - & a confident rider.
Level of Experience, Qualification(s) Required / Training Offered: Previous trained experience both on ground & ridden; experienced riders with formal training in Equitation/Dr/SJ. Working under qualified supervision, instruction & training provided. Excellent opportunity to gain professional stud, Showing & competitive training experience.
Details to Veterinary / Vet Nursing / Speciality requirements: Basic level stable yard nursing care.
Full/Part-Time; Hours of Work; Weekend/After Hours Required: Full time, stud hours, weekends & after-hours required, able to assist in emergencies.
Drivers license required: Preferable

Remuneration / Package Perks: Salary experience & qualification dependent, R5000/month negotiable for a more experienced candidate.

Any additional comments: Content to live on isolated farm in rural surrounds, willing to work long hours, public hols/weekends, out of doors in all weather conditions. Not shorter than 1.6m; medium to slender build.
